It is currently headed by Dr. Seddeek Abdel-Salam. Al-Ahram Egyptian Daily Newspaper is the Founder of Ahram Canadian University in Egypt. Al-Ahram founded on 5 August 1875, is the most widely circulating Egyptian daily newspaper, and the second oldest after al-Waqa'i`al-Masriya (The Egyptian Events, founded 1828). It is majority owned by the Egyptian government, and is considered a newspaper of record for Egypt.

Given the many varieties of Arabic language, Al-Ahram is widely considered an influential source of writing style in Arabic. In 1950, the Middle East Institute described Al-Ahram as being to the Arabic-reading public within its area of distribution, "What The Times is to Englishmen and The New York Times to Americans",[3] however it has often been accused of heavy influence and censorship by the Egyptian government.

Dr. Abdel Moneim Saeed Ali is the Chairman of Ahram Canadian University in Egypt. He has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Executive Director of Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper in Cairo, Egypt, since February 2013. He worked in planning the management of the Center for Strategic Studies, and Director of the Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies in Cairo, Egypt.

He is a Research Fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington in 1987 and a summer of 2004, and a Research Fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harver University in 2003. He has been a Senior Fellow at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Brandeis University in the United States since 2005.

Dr. Abdel Moneim Saeed received a BA from Cairo University in 1970, and MA and PhD degrees in Political Science from Northern Illinois University in the United States in 1979 and 1982, respectively. He worked as an advisor to the Qatari Emiri Diwan from August 1990 to June 1993. In 2014, he established the Gulf States Institute in Washington. From June 2007 to 2011, he was a member of the Egyptian Shura Council.

Spreading relations with Arab-Islamic relations, the Arab conflict, the family, the Arab conflict, and the Arab conflict; In Arabic and English. Securities, articles, published articles and chapters of books on security in the Middle East, the Egyptian president, the Swedish president, the passive, and the maintenance of the hierarchy also contributed.

From 1997 to 2011, Dr. Abdel Moneim presented an Egyptian television program entitled "Beyond". In 2002, the program "On the Air" broadcast by the Orbit TV Network, and the presenter of the program "Handicapped" on "On TV" in the 2008/2009 season.

The most recent book of Brandeis University in January 2012, the most recent book by Dr. Abdel Moneim Said, entitled “The State and Revolution in Egypt: Paradox and Politics”. Together with Shai Feldman and Khalil Shikaki, he co-authored the textbook “The Arabs and the Israelis, Conflict and Peace-Making in the Middle East”.
